My wife and I recently received our Defiant E-Nikes (matching set). Set-up was easy, but the controller user manual were not up to date! Guess we will figure that out as we go. Really enjoy riding the bikes!! Time to look at accessories.

First off let me give a shout out to Matt, Will, and all the people at Jupiter bikes. They are very professional friendly and go out of their way for customer satisfaction. That being said the Defiant is a nice bike right out of the box. I had no problems at all putting it together and getting on the road. I ride it daily and have put 2500 miles on it. I live in the city and ride the bike lanes with a lot of traffic around me, so I have made few changes to the bike for safety and comfort. 1st was a suspension seat post and front forks then mirrors a rear rack with saddle bags and rear brake light with blinkers, and most important a pair of Juin Tech MTB system hybrid hydraulic brakes. This bike now stops on a dime. I am now on my second pair of tires ( they lasted me about 2000 miles) and my 3rd battery. I love this bike and hope to keep it for many more miles. When I bought this bike the Defiant Pro was not available, or I would have purchased it. However I have no regrets with my purchase of the Defiant it is so fun to ride. I hope this helps.
