When I set out to buy e-bikes in May 2023, my main goal was to enhance our camping experience as avid RV'ers. What initially caught my attention about the Jupiter Defiant was the mere notion that a rugged, multi-terrain fat-tire e-bike could actually fold up and fit completely inside our RV’s storage compartments. After concluding my research, I pulled the trigger and purchased two of them. Right out of the box, assembly was straightforward and intuitive. We couldn't wait to get them out at the campground and on the trails. Needless to say, they exceeded our expectations right from the start. They made navigating around campgrounds completely effortless, and no terrain was off-limits. These bikes handle everything with ease: pavement, gravel, grass, dirt, sand, and even snow. Living in the Midwest, we ride ours through all four seasons. While I prefer to avoid riding in the rain, the stability of those fat tires gives complete peace of mind, no matter the conditions. What started out as a simple solution for us to get around campsites and local attractions while camping, turned out to be completely transformative for my overall health. I thoroughly enjoy riding my Defiant so much that I now find myself out on it multiple days a week. The Pedal Assist option make the riding experience enjoyable and allows me to extend the duration of my rides without overexertion. Thanks to this newfound activity, I have lost 46 pounds over the last 3 years ..... and I can attribute that directly to riding my Defiant (and I still eat like a 5th-grade boy at the age of 58!). Beyond the bike's performance, the customer support from Jupiter Bike has been top-notch. Our Defiant(s) have been virtually maintenance-free for three years (aside from tubes, tires, and routine tune-ups). Back in April 2026, I needed to replace a battery on one of our bikes. The battery range was dwindling after 3 years of use, so I ordered a new battery. I inadvertently ordered the wrong battery, I must've subconsciously clicked on the Defiant ST, doh! Nevertheless, I contacted customer service and worked with Jaci (sp?), who was super helpful in rectifying my oversight. Later, when the replacement battery arrived, I wanted confirmation on installing the new battery plate kit, I spoke with David Otto from Jupiter Bike. David was extremely knowledgeable, insightful, and courteous throughout our entire interaction. David was consultative on several other aspects of the Defiant, aside from the battery plate kit! After installing the new battery and re-experiencing the 40+ mile range (with my Pedal Assist tendencies), I bought a battery for our other Defiant too! If you are looking for a powerful, versatile, and conveniently foldable e-bike backed by an incredible customer support team, the Jupiter Defiant is worth every penny. Highly recommended! PS...After 3 years of regular use, they still look new after a good cleaning!

2 years with Zero issues. So much easier having Jupiter in Tampa for sales and service. Easily go 40 miles on a full charge, BUT give the battery time to recharge.

Was in the market for a new e-bike, but didn’t want to spend too much, but wanted to upgrade my original e-bike. After shopping around found numerous positive reviews for the Jupiter Defiant. Also to my surprise they had a sale through Costco which pretty much sealed the deal. After receiving the bike, installation wasn’t too hard. My first ride confirmed any doubts that I had were in accurate. This bike is fun, fast, well built and couldn’t be happier.

My wife and I recently received our Defiant E-Nikes (matching set). Set-up was easy, but the controller user manual were not up to date! Guess we will figure that out as we go. Really enjoy riding the bikes!! Time to look at accessories.

After many hours of research, the Defiant seemed to be the best option of price, features, and very important....the weight! I have mobility issues that make walking any distance (let alone lifting anything) quite difficult. My Defiant gave me a part of my life I sorely missed. Could barely hold back the tears on my test ride. It's totally bad ass! My black beauty is very sexy and really moves in the sand, gravel, dirt, grass, and on the hardtop! I had the opportunity to visit JupiterBike in Tampa while I wintered in Florida. Their customer service was awesome! All I can say is their...CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE BOMB! She was so helpful! She got all the paperwork together and had it put together for me too!!! Nothing but good things to say! The seat is nice!! I also got the upgraded suspension seat post! Anyway I could go on about the great battery life, great shifter, easy read screen, assist levels, and everything else, but you'll find out when you get yours!

I love my defiant bike, it is a heavy duty bike ,750 watt, 20 inches wheels, 55 lbs, foldable and used to have it in the back seat of my toyota camry all the time ,just remove and charge the battery and kept it in my car all the time. Before I had the defiant I bought like two electric bikes,both end up damaged and sit now as junk in my parking garage. I strongly recommend this electric bike ,I have it like 5 months till now and have like 2200 miles in total on it. It is fun and reliable as an electric bike and you can go like 35 miles very easily on it per battery charge and you can enjoy a very comfortable and smooth ride on it. Thanks Roger

This bike is a dream come true.Im a disabled veteran that has troubles walking.This beast carries my 300lbs with ease.It is an eye catcher also.Here in South Dakota ,the weather changes all the time.Jupiter bike Defiant weather's all storms.It handles the cold like a polar bear.It handles heat and rain also.I would recommend this machine to anyone.Its a bargain when you compare it .Buy one and you'll be very happy.Plus ,the service is instantaneous.My light got damaged.It was replaced in no time.signed Moose.

I am very pleased with my Defiant Electric Bike. Lots of power when I need it. Also operates as a regular bike with smooth shifting when you need it. Great on the beach with the fat tires going through the sand much better than I expected. With the aid of the electric power, you can ride in grass and soft dirt with little effort. I like my bike!
