Defiant Crank Set

We purchased 4 Defiant eBikes in April of 2022 for our family, on a recent trip on one of the Florida trails, one of my family members clipped a curb with the right pedal on their bike, and apparently bent the shaft that connects the crank shaft making the pedal unbalanced and eventually stripping the threads on the crank arm. I was happy to find Jupiter ebikes had the replacement part and it was in stock. Part arrive a few days later and discovered a needed a special crank shaft puller removal tool. I called Jupiter main number and the person who answered the phone was very helpful and pointed me to the crank shaft puller tool to purchase. Once I had the tool, the old crank shaft easily came off and in 5 minutes had the new crank shaft and pedal installed. The Jupiter eBikes have been reliable, and support has been outstanding. I am getting between 40 and 60 miles per charge depending on how much pedal assist I use when going on long bike rides. Highly recommend choosing Jupiter, as they are extremely well built, and stand behind their product. Love the fact these bikes fold as we can take them in our SUV to get to trails we normally wouldn't be able to get to by bike. Overall great reliable product. Batteries are still going strong after 2 years. For those who are looking to buy the Jupiter eBike the 2 big add-ons I'd recommend is the spring loaded seat shaft, i.e. makes for a more comfortable ride, and the rear rack with big enough storage pouch to carry and extra battery. We love our Defiant bikes and use them almost every day. We've had no mechanical or electrical issues on any of our eBikes, other than the pedal which we damaged.
