Smooth ride and compact enough to pack. It has good battery life and is easy to fold. I use it to cruise around and make short trips to the store. Over all I’m very happy with my purchase.

I like it so much, I bought it again! I already have one, and I've purchased another to use in a different location. It is small and nimble - perfect for a petite female. It is not overly complicated and is light enough for me to lift. It is great for a daily ride for exercise!

We have two of these and use them as shore transportation for our boat. They fold compactly and store in a reduced space. We purchased cloth bags to help protect them from the salt air environment which has worked well so far. We keep the chain and all of the fasteners lubricated to help with the rusting. Our first batteries only lasted about a month before we stored them for the winter and they died while in storage. We purchased replacements from the factory and have used them typically once a week or so and they have now lasted for six months. We have found these to be very handy and use them when we hit port to go eat or shopping or such. Lots of comments and questions from folks who see them. We laughingly refer to them as our clown bikes because of the compact size. You wouldn't want to use these in place of a larger bike if that option is available to you but they sure fit our needs.

I take it with me on trips and have recently enjoyed a nice casual ride around Mission Bay in San Diego. I found that range and speed are more than sufficient. The ride comfort is surprisingly good, thanks to rear suspension and a very comfortable seat. I added the rack, so I can use it for shopping when needed. I'm giving 5 stars because I believe this bike is a great value for the money.

We needed ebikes to fit in a Cessna 172 for our summer/fall trips to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard. So we bought 2 Discovery X5 bikes since we needed ebikes that were light weight, foldable, and had a horn with front/rear lighting. This bike checked all those boxes! We fit one bike in the Cessna baggage storage area (fits perfect through the door!) and the other in the rear seat. Range isn't close to 35 miles, more like 18. However that's okay, islands are flat and I need the exercise! I'm sure JupiterBike will sell more of these bikes. When we ride these from the plane on the tarmac we turn a lot of heads! A lot of pilots we talked to were going to get one or two. Hope you sell more! We will keep recommending the bike.

I had my X5 for three seasons and have put over 1,800 miles on my bike over three summers. Great little bike. Pedal Assist is great on hills and/or against on-coming strong winds. Only maintenance has been a new rear tire inner tube and new plastic petals (bearing wore out on the original plastic petals). Folding option makes it easy to get in my SUV - I bought the carry bag to keep any grease away from my car interior. Highly recommended.

So I will admit in the beginning I was a little skeptical as I'm pretty new to electric bikes however this bike is a great little bike. It gets me to and from work. I had a slight battery issue and the sales team handled it quickly and got me the new battery as fast they possibly could. (Less then 1 week). I am very happy with my purchase.

Bought 2 Discovery X5s, one for me and one for my wife. So far they have been great. The both fit perfectly in the back of our 2011 Chevy Equinox. We took them to the park today and these things pull! My wife is not a bike rider, but she had fun on this! The park is surrounded by a 2 mile compacted dirt trail, and the X5s handled it perfectly, also when riding on some low cut grass. Can't wait to buy some accessories for it. One issue that I had was on one of the e-bikes, the front rotor was slightly rubbing the brake pad out the box. I never adjusted rotor brakes before, but I found the 1 Allen bolt that adjusted the tension. It does look like there is a little bit of warp in the rotor, but not too much. Not sure if this will be an issue down the road. The other one was perfect out of the box.
