It install easy. We put our discovery 7 bikes on it and drove to our destination. Took the two bikes off the rack easily and rode them. Put the bikes back on the rack easily and drove back home. Took the two bikes off of the rack easily and folded the rack up until the next time we need it.

I used my recently purchased bike rack for the first time. It is definitely heavy-duty, and heavy (about 50 lbs). It securely held 2 ebikes during my 6 hour trip. Once assembled, it was easy to mount to my trailer hitch. The bikes mounted easily and securely. The tip back mechanism to allow my SUV cargo door to open worked well. It was easy to remove the bikes from the rack, and fairly easy to remove the rack from the hitch (it would be too heavy for my wife to manipulate, though). Two minor drawbacks: the red plastic safety reflector was crushed in packaging or shipping -- no problem as I had bought a set of tail lights that I ziptied to the rack anyway; the bigger problem was that one bolt requires a 10 or 12 mm hex wrench not included in the kit. 8 mm is the largest size I had on hand, and the largest size Lowe's or HomeDepot carry on the shelves as well. I didn't have time before leaving on my trip to special order the hex wrench, but I did a workaround by using a visegrip plier on the bolt, which did the trick. All in all, very pleased with this rack. It would be easy and inexpensive for the manufacturer to include the necessary hex wrench, though.

This is a really solid rack, which works great for my Jupiter Defiant bike. Assembles in about 30 minutes and has very convenient features, and works perfectly with the 4 inch tires, which is a limiting factor with other racks. Very solidly built. Have been very impressed with the build quality on all of the Jupiter products thus far. This is no exception. Highly recommended.

I received the bike rack, and after opening and laying out the parts, it took me a little over a half hour to put together. Once together, I found it very well constructed, and held both of my Jupiter Defiant beautifully. The lock and the well thought out, and the part that slides into the receiver hold it very secure and no rattling. Thanks Jupiter.
